The Hoya HD High Definition range of filters use the highest quality materials to give the highest attainable light transmission and image clarity, coupled with tough wearing design. Hardened 8 Layer Multi Coating
This scratch and stain resistant coating allows an average light transmission of 99.35% between 400nm and 700nm (visible) wavelengths. This oil resistant coating is also made much harder by being applied in a furnace.
