The ELDIA is the cheapest Leica thing you can buy that is almost camera-shaped. It’s an opticalcontact printer, designed to duplicate filmstrips onto orthochromatic (specifically, blue-sensitive) film in order to create projectable positive slides, which you will never do. But if you are looking for some useful bones for a DIY pinhole camera, this could be part of the solution: it’s compact, and while there’s no frame counter, it does index frames as you wind. I think I’ve said too much about the pinhole aspect of this, because it’s definitely not an out-of-box application, but the other option is sitting idle on a collectible shelf, and I thinkthere’smore potential here than that. Anyway, it’s in very good condition, with light wear.
