The Voigtlander Vitessa N is a unique 35mm rangefinder camera with a folding lens, thumb-dial focusing and a plunger-style film winding system. Why? Because it’s a German camera from the 1950s and no mechanism is too weird or too complicated to make it to production. This Vitessa is in excellent cosmetic condition, with only minor wear from careful use. The rangefinder is accurate, and the Voigtlnder 50mm f2 Ultron lens is clean. Shutter is accurate from 1/30s and up; lower speeds are slow. Probably not a surprise, but the light meter doesn’t work either. So we’re not talking about an absolutely perfect Vitessa, but it’s in decent working condition andit looks great. Includes leather case.
