The Libec Friction Video Head is a compact and versatile tripod head, designed to support up to 5 kg (11 lb) in payload. Featuring friction movement, a fixed counterbalance, and continuous drag adjustment, it offers smooth and controlled camera motion. The head comes with a native 75mm half ball for easy setup on compatible tripods, and it also includes a flat base with a 3/8″-16 mounting thread, making it suitable for use with a variety of support systems, including sliders and other equipment.

The quick-release system allows for fast attachment of the included camera plate from above, and once in place, the plate offers a 0.5″ sliding range for added flexibility. The head is equipped with a 1/4″-20 mounting screw and an anti-twist video pin to ensure secure and stable mounting. A tie-down handle is included for securing the head to 75mm bowl tripods, and the pan handle can be fitted on either side of the head, with the option to add a second handle if needed.
