The Nikon D700 is a classic full-frame DSLR with an excellent 12mp sensor and quick, accurate autofocus. “Well hold on, what’s this about 12 megapixels,” you’re probably saying. “My phone has like 40 megapixels, how can you say that a 12 megapixel sensor is excellent?” Well, rhetorical questioner, here is how: The resolution of a sensor is part of what determines image quality, but it’s not the only part. The D700 sensor has good dynamic range, excellent low-light performance, and pleasant noise handling- it takes a good looking picture. And in terms of sheer resolution, while you don’t have a ton of leeway to crop madly into your image, it’s easy to get a full resolution 8×10 out of this camera. Anyway, the D700: worth a look. Unless you want to do video, which this doesn’t do. This D700 is in excellent condition, with only very minor cosmetic wear. Approximately 22k actuations.
