It measures the temperature in the room and continues to heat up till the set temperature is reached, it will automatically reduce power output or stop working. This is thanks to the built-in thermostat, that allows for energy saving, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature while saving power at the same time.

The Xiaomi Smart Space Heater S works on a convected airflow system, where warm heated air rises and cool air comes down and is pulled into the heater. Large air ducts in front and on top allow to heat areas close to the heater as well as the entire room. The Xiaomi Smart Space Heater S produces airflow that is softer than that of an AC and is not as prone to dryness. The optimized air duct, makes the temperature rise quickly. It also comes with an integrated drying rack for clothing to help them dry quicker. The integrated drying rack can load up to 1.5kg of dry clothes while heating.
