Bigger and heavier than you’d figure a 35mm lens would be, thisZeiss ZE Distagon 35mm f1.4 is a real monument… but not for nothing. Image quality is excellent even wide open, and manual focusing action is old-school smooth. Yes, it’s manual focus only- but aperture control is fully electronic, and the lens design (11 elements!) is contemporary, so this isn’t a completely retro experience. In excellent condition, with original box and hood.
