The Manfrotto 725B is a well made compact tripod suitable for most digital and film cameras (up to about 3.5kg). I’m not sure I’d stick a 4×5 on there, but it’s pretty steady, and theincluded (and non-removable) ball head is a quality piece. Extends to about 164cm with the centre column up, or about 130cm with it down.
