Not the fastest lens in the world, but thisSchneider-Kreuznach G-Claron 270mm f9 is very compact and covers up to 8×10, which is pretty impressive. It’s great for field cameras, although I suppose if you’re already hauling around an 8×10 field camera, the appeal to compactness may have limited valueto you. Nevertheless, this is an uncommon lens in excellent condition, with minor internal dust, no haze or fungus, a touch of the old Schneideritis around the element edges which will not affect imaging. Mounted in an accurate Copal No.1 shutter. Includes retaining ring.
