The AF Micro-Nikkor 200mm f/4D IF-ED is a telephoto micro lens for close-ups and nature photography. Its 200mm focal length offers tremendous free-working distance so you can take close-up macro shots of shy or dangerous subjects and still keep your distance. Even at 1:1 magnification, the closest focusing distance is approximately 50cm/19.7? between the front of the lens and the subject. Internal Focusing technology enables fast AF operation and keeps the size of the lens unchanged as you focus. ED glass elements are incorporated for higher optical performance, ensuring high-resolution and high-contrast images even at maximum aperture. Natural blur for out-of-focus elements is achieved with the lens? nine-blade rounded diaphragm blades. The powerful AF Micro-Nikkor 200mm lens features a Close-Range Correction (CRC) system which provides high performance at both near and far focusing distances. This spectacular manual focus lens ensures flawless photographs with continuous focus from infinity to a reproduction ratio of 1:2, delivering excellent sharpness and flatness of field.
