Leica D-Lux 8 100 YEARS OF LEICA pays homage to the Leica I from 1925 the camera that revolutionised photography a century ago. The cameras shape and subtle design elements evoke its historic inspiration. They include a black finish, exclusive leatherette covering and nickel-coloured accents on the control elements, lens and lens cap. Unlike the series model, the special edition does not feature the red Leica logo. It favours a clear design with straight lines. Other details like the 100 on the hot shoe cover and elaborate edging on the shutter release offer a nod to its iconic heritage.

We have designed the Leica SOFORT 2 100 YEARS OF LEICA in homage to the legendary Leica I from 1925. This special edition is technically identical to the series camera. What sets it apart are the nickel-coloured shutter release and lens cap as well as an exclusive 100 logo on the camera top plate.
