The Benro TAC008A is a compact, lightweight tripod designed for smaller cameras (think point & shoot, mirrorless, or a lightweight SLR.) It’s modelled after bigger, fancier tripods, and it shares some nice features (in slightly more lightweight form): three-position legs, a removable single-action ball head, and a foam sleeve on one of the legs for cold-weather carrying comfort. This is not a heavy-duty tripod- it’s mostly plastic and thin aluminum- but it’s honestly much better than most in its price range.
