All Frontier HD X binoculars pass through a strict quality control inspection to ensure all aspects match design intent. They are optically checked for resolution, light transmission and Strehl Ratio for optical image formation. Their resilience to harsh temperatures, both hot and cold, is tested operationally from -15C to +55C and in storage conditions from -40C to +70C. Waterproofing to IPX7 and fog proofing are also rigorously tested.

Ideal as bird watching binoculars or for wildlife watching, they are designed to withstand rugged conditions out in the field in all temperatures and weathers. Focusing is smooth, precise and effortless. Theyre light in weight too, thanks to a magnesium alloy chassis protected with a lightweight, grippy rubber coating.
