Additional Features

Infinity Click Allowing you to achieve quick, precise focusing. Youll feel the moment when your lens hits infinity, which is extremely useful when shooting in different light conditions (I.e., low light, night).

Focus Lock – Gives you the ability to lock the focussing ring in a chosen position so you can keep a specific focus even and flat.

Focus Calibration Window As there is focus detection in DSLR cameras, you may need to synchronise the lens with the camera. A special window allows you to easily calibrate the lens at home.

Rear Gel Filter Slot A special feature of the Irix 11mm is the rear gel filter shot. It allows neutral gray filters against the background of competing ultra-wide-angle builds that do not have the option of using filters.

Engraved Fluorescent Markings Enables easy read-out and operation in low light conditions.

Maximum Resistance

The Firefly version has been ergonomically designed to offer maximum resistance in extreme environments. It is weather sealed with three rubber seals that protect the camera mount and focussing mechanism as well as being sealed around the lenses all to ensure the lens is protected internally and externally from dust, moisture and accidental water splashes.
