The Olympus 10×42 Pro Binoculars feature extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, all with phase-correcting and dielectric coating on the BAK4 prisms. Furthermore, these optics features anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics.
This is to produce bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate colours and enhanced clarity without distortion, ghosting, or fringing.

The Olympus 10×42 Pro Binoculars also feature a waterproof and fog-proof construction. Oil- and water-repellent coating applied to the objective lens and eyepieces allows smudges like fingerprints to be easily wiped.
