Olympus is very pleased to introduce the world’s first weatherproof macro flash system being dust-splash-and freezeproof (-10C). The robust construction features a compact and lightweight design. The STF-8 supports flash photography when combined with cameras featuring the focus stacking and the focus bracketing mode making it very useful for capturing insects, flowers and commercial photos in studio.

Additionally, it features a bundle adapter ring that’s compatible with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 30mm f/3.5 macro, M.Zuiko Digital ED 60mm f/2.8 macro and the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO, The main flash can also be used as a commander to control multiple flash units. When using both heads of the twin flash – the GN is 8.5 and when using only a single head – the GN is 6 to deliver ideal flash output for macro shooting.
