The tablet debut from Oppo
The Oppo Pad proves it clearly: The manufacturer from China can also compete with the big ones in terms of tablets. Equipped with a modern Snapdragon processor, a high-resolution IPS panel, and an outstandingly manufactured casing, the tablet offers a lot for a comparatively low price.
Ideal for mobile working
The Oppo Pad presents itself very modern: The edges on the sides are pleasantly thin and the front of the device is particularly characterized by the large IPS panel. The manufacturer’s logo was applied on the back in an elaborate process and via 9 material layers. The dimensions of 252.2 x 163.8 x 6.99 mm are compact enough to make the tablet ideal for mobile use. The weight of 507 g is also not high for a device of this class.
More than just a simple webcam
Of course, the Oppo Pad is equipped with a high-quality camera setup. An 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture is used on the front. On the other hand, the manufacturer relies on a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF support on the back. Videos can be recorded at up to 4k and 30 fps thanks to the high-resolution sensor. The front-facing camera, on the other hand, supports Full HD format and allows high-quality video telephony in combination with the installed microphones.
Games are not a problem
The performance of modern tablets is often a problem for demanding gamers. Not so with the Oppo Pad. It uses the Snapdragon 870 Octa Core processor. With a clock rate of up to 3.2 GHz and 6 GB of RAM, even computationally intensive apps and mobile games can be played smoothly. The internal storage is 128 GB and is also very fast thanks to UFS 3.1 technology.
High resolution display
Considering the comparably low price, the Oppo Pad surprises with a very high-resolution display. It is pleasantly large with 11 inches and displays digital content with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels razor-sharp. The LTPS panel has a screen-to-body ratio of 86.3% and a maximum brightness of 480 nits. Gamers will be pleased with the screen’s speed. A smooth playback is absolutely guaranteed with a rich 120 Hz refresh rate.
Well equipped all around
The tablet from China also presents itself uncompromisingly in terms of the other features. A fast data connection can be guaranteed thanks to WiFi 6 support. Wireless headphones or other gadgets can be connected to the tablet via Bluetooth 5.1. An 8360 mAh battery is used as the power source, which can be charged with up to 33W via cable. The sound reproduction is on a high level due to the four installed speakers.
