Sony A7 IIICamera gives outstanding imaging capability and high-speed performance contained in a compact body. The Sony A7 Mark III provides power, precision and flexibility to capture in the moment images. A newly developed back-illuminated image sensorand image processing system fulfill various shooting needs with high-quality imaging capabilities that you would expect only of a full-frame camera.

A new version of the 24.2 megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor now features back-illuminated structure is combined with the latest BIONZ X image processing engine and front-end LSI. Standard ISO range is extended to ISO 100-51200 while Detail Reproduction and Area-specific Noise Reduction technologies maintain image details and cut noise.

4D Focus

AF performance is improved using the same AF advancements as in the A9 and applies it optimally. Once the Sony A7 Mark III captures moving subjects such as dancers, boxers and animals, it won’t let them go. This camera features 693 phase-detection AF points which covers approx. 93% of image area plus 425 AF points to improve the focus.

Focus Control

The touch screen on the a7 III has a touch focus function and a touch pad function for you to drag the frame while using the viewfinder.

Continuous Shooting

The Sony A7 Mark III can shoot in a continuous burst at up to 10 fps with AF/AE tracking and up to 8fps burst shooting with live-view mode. This camera also supports silent shooting at up to 10fps with AF/AE tracking at maximum resolution.

Capture instant action with continuous shooting of up to 10 fps or 8 fps for live-view shooting. Up to approximately 177 JPEG Images, 89 compressed RAW images or 40 uncompressed RAW images can be captured in one continuous burst.

New Imaging Edge Software Suite

Imaging Edge software suite can maximise image quality, improve production efficiency and help you finely adjust RAW-based images. Use its Remote to remotely control shooting while monitoring scenes via live-view PC screen; Edit to develop RAW data into high-quality photos; and Viewer to view, rate and select photos from a list of shots.

4K HDR Recording

Record movies in high-resolution4K HDR format with the A7 III. The camera features a new HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) picture profile which supports instant HDR workflow.
