This is a terrific idea for a frame as it is free standing and conveys a sense of home and security. The apertures are fixed to a thick black base one of which is elevated on two pieces of wooden dowling behind the word ‘Home’ that has been engraved and stuck to the base. The black and white thick zigzag lines contrast really well with the thinner black veritcal lines on the other aperture and as they are both a similar size they are almost the same height. Each aperture on the frame has another frame edge in brown and white, which contrasts with the black and white colour of the background. The three colours of white, black and brown have been sensatively used, to give a balanced feel to the frame as a whole. Each photo is put into the back of the frame by removing the individual backboards and then they are locked into place using the metal tabs. The frame measures approximately 16×9.5 inches overall.
